Located in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles, adjacent to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, the extensive renovation radically transforms the exterior and interior of the 1982 building. Masterminded by Studio Fuksas—an international architectural firm led by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas (AIA Honorary Fellowship, RIBA) and headquartered in Rome, Paris, and Shenzhen—the $500-million renovation project embodies their global reputation for bold, sculptural designs that seamlessly integrate fluid, organic forms with advanced technology and sustainability. On the outside, a broad, textured stucco fascia surmounts a dynamic metal mesh ribbon wrapping the entire building. Indoors, the spaces are flooded with natural light filtering through a new skylight that runs the entire length of the structure.
